Point Lonsdale House is a coastal retreat from urban life, designed as a permanent home for two and to accommodate three generations during holidays.
The house’s weathered exterior gives way to a light and warm interior. Obscured behind clusters of Moonah trees, white rendered walls and rectangular forms are veiled with timber screens to create a series of interconnected volumes.
The interior spaces reflect the same materials as the exterior, with timber batten screens gently separating the living and dining areas, positioned on either side of the stair.
The main bedroom is located on the upper floor to enjoy privacy, while a series of guest bedrooms and bathrooms occupy an independent linear wing on the ground floor. Views of the iconic Point Lonsdale Lighthouse tether the living experience to this unique part of the coastline.
